Joshua's Bio

                                
Joshua Hernandez is a seventeen year old 12th grader attending New Design High School. Joshua born in Manhattan, New York and is currently living in Bronx, New York. In school, his best subject is math because he loves working with numbers and it is something he easily catches on to. In college Joshua Hernandez would like to major in music, music production and/or filmmaking because he has a powerful passion for music and would like to combine his music abilities with filmmaking to make his own music videos. In the future Joshua would like to be a professional vocalist / lyricist in a hardcore-rock (or maybe a hardcore-techno) band because how great would it be to have a career in a field of which he loves so much. His own hobbies and things he loves doing during his spare-time consists of writing poetry, writing lyrics, practicing and recording with his band, skating, attending his home church’s services, and hanging out with his friends. Joshua Hernandez’s talents are his ability to sing and his ability to imagine literally whole original songs in his head complete with lyrics, drum beats, bass lines, guitar lines etc. The people in his life who inspire and impact Joshua Hernandez’s the most are his mother for always pushing him to do better and to keep doing what he loves, Anthony, the bassist in his band, for teaching him (after having not known him for very long) that he doesn’t have to know anything outside of music to know who he is and who he is meant to be in life because after all, music is Joshua’s life. Another person who has impacted Joshua’s life is his friend Mani for helping him learn how to give his lyrics and poetry a powerful message and substance using original out of this world imagery. Joshua Hernandez’s personal mission in life is to truly change people’s lives using his music and his lyrics. He wants to help give people a sense of hope through music that he feels is greatly needed in the world today.

Magdiel's bio



Magdiel Ciego is an artist born in the Bronx nicknamed Miles .  He is a twelveth grader at New Design High School and currently lives in the lower east side of Manhattan. He lives with his mother , older brother and younger sister.   He is an artist that loves to capture the moment and make people happy through art.  The forms of art he chooses to do are poetry, Graffiti, photography and B-boying which is a type of dance also he  plays guitar .  He's danced for about a year and skateboarded for a year as well.  He's been drawing for 2 years and started photography and filmography and dance about a year ago and he enjoys them very much. Magdiel took up dance for enjoyment at first, but it then grew into art in his eyes.  It shows people how he feels about music.  He says he dances to the beat and makes his body into cool art. well thats his view on it his goal is become great at  dancer ,photography and filmography.

Dante Bio

                                     

Dante Walker is a senior at New Design High School on the L.E.S. of Manhattan. He was born and  raised in Orlando, Florida he currently lives in Manhattan, New York. His favorite hobbies are playing guitar, piano, drawing reading comics and study game design. His best subjects in school are math, science and art. He wants to go to college to study game design in hopes of creating his own video games someday. When hes older he wants to be a game designer cause its always been a dream of his and he would like to design a game that people would like to play in the future.   His special talents consist of playing guitar, writing music, drawing concept art and programing. I'm inspired most by my dad who always wants the best for me and always wants me to succeed. My mission in life is to be able to provide for my family and give them everything they gave me and more.

Marcus Bio






 Marcus Omowale is a fourth-year who attends new design high school. He was born in the city of dreams, New York and currently dwells in that very illustrious city.  His best subjects are Math, Science, History and technology. These subjects surpass all others in his mind because they are very complex and require one to look deep into the inner workings of concepts such as sciences such as physics, computer science and the history of the world. Theater deserves its own category for Marcus because acting is something that he holds in high regard. Marcus hopes to study a variety of things in college, this includes mathematics, the physical sciences and theater. Success is the number one factor in Marcus's life, any career within the fields that interest him will be acceptable and the determining factor is simply : which carreer will bring the most success. During his spare time Marcus enjoys online gaming ( Shaiya similiar to world of warcraft ), reading and reciting shakespeare. Music is definetely apart of his life, when hes not doing homework or online he loves to use the surround sound speakers in his living room. Success by struggle is something Marcus loves to see and people such as  Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. These two individuals failed at first but didn't give up and eventually they succeeded.  Marcus's personal mission is to become someone that matters. He wishes to incorporate the arts into all he does. The future isn't known to him but he will try his best to mold it.

Chris BIO




Puerto Rican Christopher Vidal is a Senior at New Design High School.  He grew up on the south side of the Bronx.  His favorite subjects in school are Design and math because of his passion for the arts and comfortability with math.  In college he plans to study Graphic Design, education and buisness so he can be a logo artist/teacher. His hobbies include gaming, watching videos, writing poems, drawing, sewing, painting, photography and watching TV on ocassion.  During his spare time he likes to work on his own art projects.  His grandfather, who taught him to never give up and work hard, inspires him, and his mother gives him the courage to fight for his dreams. When he is older he plans to open up his own art school/summer camp for kids in the Bronx, so they can have a productive way to express themselves.
